Terms & Conditions of entry
Each club or region has it’s own terms and conditions of entry to be adhered to. BMXNZ also has specific criteria for each of it’s sanctioned events. Please make sure that you read and understand these terms and conditions. These may change from time to time without notice.
Health and Safety Declaration – Applicable to ALL BMXNZ sanctioned events:
BMX New Zealand (BMXNZ), the host Region and the host Club are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all riders, families, and visitors at this event.
We follow the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and will take all reasonable steps to identify and manage risks. A Risk Management Plan (RMP) has been developed and is available at the event site. If you would like to see this before the event, please contact the host club directly.
BMX racing is an exciting and challenging sport, but it carries risks such as crashes, falls, and injury. These risks are part of participating in BMX racing.
By entering this event, you confirm that:
- You understand and accept the risks of BMX racing as set out in the RMP
- You consent to proper medical treatment being given if you are injured
- You consent to drug testing if required
- You agree to follow all rules and conditions for this event as set out in the current BMXNZ Rule Book
Safety at all BMXNZ events is not negotiable. If you fail to follow the rules, the Code of Conduct, or reasonable instructions by an Official. Officials will explain what needs to be corrected and give you a reasonable chance to follow their instructions. If you choose not to comply after this, you may be removed from the event site.
Payment via Credit Card and POLi ONLINE
To cover costs, a $1.50 transaction fee and a 3.00% of total amount surcharge will be applied. This fee may, at the discretion of the host club be included in the entry fee.
Mobile phone numbers and e-mail addresses
BMXEvents.NZ collects certain data when you use our online services. By use of this site you agree that BMX New Zealand, BMXEvents.NZ and the host Club of the event that you are entering, may use your mobile phone number and e-mail address to contact you via text and e-mail based services pertaining to your entry, the event and if so required, to contact you afterwards.
